Clemson University’s Championship Golf Course

Recognized by the South Carolina Golf Association as one of the best golf courses in the state, the Walker Course at Clemson University sits majestically on the banks of Lake Hartwell and within a few strokes of the center of campus. Designed by DJ DeVictor, the Walker Course was recently awarded the designation of “Best you Can Play” by the South Carolina Golf Panel. The University’s Professional Golf Management Program is headquartered at the course and has graduated many PGA professionals currently working at some of the finest private and public courses in the United States. Our par 72 course features Diamond Zoysia greens and Bermuda fairways with tees to suit the beginner and the low handicap players. Rental clubs are available and a well-stocked golf shop with the finest in Clemson logo apparel is on hand for players of all abilities.
Private lessons can be scheduled with our PGA professionals and our overseeded practice range is available year-round.
